Acrylic sheet
Acrylic is as clear as optical glass at about half the weight, with far greater impact resistance. Cast acrylic is flexible and impact resistant, and it is used in a wide range of applications, from replacing glass in windows to structural glazing. Polished cast acrylic has a high luster.
Cast acrylic withstands intense sunlight, extreme cold, abrupt temperature changes and salt water spray. It resists ultraviolet light and does not yellow under normal sun exposure, so it suits indoor and outdoor projects, displays and signs.
Fabrication
Acrylic can be painted and silk-screened, sawed, drilled and machined, and shaped into almost any form when heated.
